One traveller's experiences with coeliac disease

One traveller's experiences with coeliac disease

Site Brief

Gluten Free Traveller chronicles the experiences of travel junkie and recently-diagnosed coeliac*, Laura Emmerson.  The site currently has reviews of gluten free options in Scotland, the Midwest, and on airplanes, as well as the debate over “barley malt extract.”

Laura will be traveling again soon, so watch for her gluten free adventures in Iceland next month.

[NB: Americans spell it "celiac", but this is a UK-based site, so "coeliac" wins]

Technical Stuff

The site is running on WordPress with a customised version of the Air Mail – Par Avion template.  This site also currently stands as the fastest site I’ve built; from start to finish in under 10 hours.

What’s a “coeliac”?

A “coeliac” is someone with coeliac disease.
