This photo was taken from an observation deck in N Seoul Tower (엔 서울타워) which sits atop Namsan (South Mountain) in the center of Seoul.  I like the idea of seeing the north side of the Korean megalopolis along with the subtle reminder that its northern counterpart (the capital of a country with which it is still technically at war) is just over the mountains, less than 200 km away.
