This photo is representative of what hiking in North Korea’s Kumgangsan (diamond mountains) region looks like. A beautiful jumble of boulders & trees…with giant Chinese characters carved into rocks and filled with red paint.
If anyone know what the characters mean, please let me know. I asked a few Korean friends and they just said, “propaganda.”
