Luss is one of a few villages on the edge of Loch Lomond. There is also a Scottish nursery rhyme about a rough bus that goes between Luss & Glasgow. For a bit of a laugh, I made the image above to commemorate the Sunday afternoon drive which led us to Luss.

March 30th, 201012 Gauge Clippers
March 29th, 2010Ever since I moved to Scotland, I’ve noticed a Glaswegian affinity for the wee round lighter with the pentagon shaped flint wheel know as the “Clipper.” After a little studying I discovered that diameter of a clipper is spot on with a 12 gauge shotgun shell. Which brings us to the photos above, my 12… Jump to the rest of «12 Gauge Clippers»
The Duke of Wellington (in 3D)
March 28th, 2010After reading a tutorial on how to make 3D photos in last months issue of .net, I decided to have a shot at it. So yesterday I went ‘doon the toon’ to find a subject for my experiment in the 3rd dimension. Once I got to GoMA, it was obvious that my subject would be… Jump to the rest of «The Duke of Wellington (in 3D)»

Movember 2009
December 4th, 2009Back in 2007, a Kiwi mate of mine told me about Movember, “the annual, month-long celebration of the mustache, highlighting men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer,” so I thought I’d give it a try. It sounded like a fun excuse not to shave for a month, so I gave it a shot. Then again in… Jump to the rest of «Movember 2009»

November 23rd, 2009The Best Signs I Ever Saw in Korea
November 21st, 2009As you may know, I constantly take pictures of signs I think are funny (see Fun Signs in Middle America). Below is a reprint of a post that originally appeared on my old blog. I put it together from photos taken over my two year stay in South Korea. I’ve categorized them as best as… Jump to the rest of «The Best Signs I Ever Saw in Korea»
